ACS believes Christians must acknowledge that all truth, knowledge, and wisdom ultimately come from God. God, as revealed in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ and through the Bible, is the center of all we do and believe at ACS. Our program is designed to provide an alternative to the godless, humanistic education in the public sector. The personal salvation and sanctification of each student is our primary concern.

We encourage character development and are always asking students to do and be their own personal best. We offer a variety of learning experiences that provide students with many opportunities to explore and expand their talents and abilities. We hope that when our students leave, they will have the skills and knowledge necessary to confidently enter their Junior/Senior High years.

The curriculum used is primarily the A Beka Book curriculum. Bob Jones and ACSI curriculum is also used along with Saxon math. ACS places great emphasis on the basics of education, providing strong phonics and mathematics programs. We include weekly classes in art, library, physical education and music. Private piano instruction or piano lab instruction is available in grades 1-6, and band instrument and orchestra instruction is available in grades 4-6. A computer lab is offered to students beginning in second grade. Students are also involved in a weekly chapel worship service during which time they pray, sing, recite Scripture, and are exposed to Biblical truths through a wide variety of speakers and programs.

The school day is from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for kindergarten and 1st grade and from
8:00 a.m. – 3:10 p.m. for 2nd - 6th grade.
